I'm really fascinated by how all these little touches at intimacy (the hand on the neck in the last chapter, the touching in this one) are really starting to freak Martin out and make him uncomfortable.
The best part is that (at least in S1), Danny touches Martin all the time. Well, not all the time, but a lot. While from S3 it looks like Martin isn't averse to touching as such, PDAs kind of freak him out.
I love that he's finally getting something he thinks he wants and it's scaring the crap out of him. :)
Poor Martin's so unused to getting what he wants, I think, that it is scary as hell for him. Because once you get what you want, what the hell do you do with it?
I was slightly confused by the last line in chapter though, is Martin walking away from the office with the blinds? Or towards it?
