I just had to add this: even though Martin is very, very screwed-up in this fic and rightfully so, I mean, the boy's got issues--the reason I'm not flinging things around and shrieking at him to get his act together, to get some help, to stop taking the weight of the world on his shoulders (even though he really needs to do all the above)--is because of the way he's so painfully in love with Danny. He really and truly sucks at the relationship thing, but he's willing to try for Danny, and he's so obviously and utterly in love that it makes me squee so much.
