*slaps writers* The ending really annoyed me, and not just because of the M/Sness of it... I mean, sickbed confessionals = very overdone, in any genre. Grrrr.

I'm glad the slash came through... In writing this I discovered that slash is much harder to write when it's not from the perspective of one of the parties concerned, and when the outside observer doesn't really want to observe it.

And as mojokitten will tell you, speaking Spanish is hot, and saves lives :D
