Oh god, I know exactly how that feels.
When I killed my palm (dropped it in the bathtub) I had just moved and had loaded it down with fic to tide me over until I got my internet hooked up.
It then took 2 weeks to fix the internet. I thought I was going to die.
Hopefully your internetlessness is short-lived!
