I adore your series, and this is just another great example of your work. I found the Fitzgeralds' introspection and conversation very realistic, and I especially loved some of the funny little quirks you snuck into this otherwise very dramatic story...Victor pining for Frosted Flakes, and being the originator of Martin's bad fashion gene. Fantastic.

Though I will agree with the other poster who got a chuckle out of the vampire/sea turtle line. "Mom, Dad, there's something I have to tell you. I'm...a sea turtle." Hee.
