HAPPY BIRTHDAY A!!!!

It's been three years almost to the week since I staggered out of the clutches of the customs officials at Palermo International Airport and collapsed in the arms of

smilla02, exhausted and terrified that she and her husband had given up after waiting for hours and had gone home. They didn't, of course :)

I still have all my photos, and my sturdy little moka pot, and my black bikini, and lots of memories so we can do it again.
