If you're going to put flour in your coffee, you might as well do something with it. . .
BLACK MAGIC CAKE
1 1/2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 3/4 cup Cocoa 2 tsp baking soda 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp salt 2 eggs 1 cup strong black coffee 1 cup butter milk or sour milk (1 T vinegar in 1 cup milk) 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large mixing bowl. Add eggs, coffee, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes (Batter will be thin) Pour batter into two 9 inch cake pans or one 14 inch rectangle.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes (35 to 40 for 14 inch).
Frost with vanilla, chocolate, coconut or coffee frosting.
