.snow turkeys! Also, RANK LAZINESS
Woo hoo woo hoo woo hoo!
I am now safely ensconced in NH, far away from people who break car windows and steal things, and people who scream at each other at 2am, and there is snow on the ground and a very large TV on which I can watch SGA, movies, and mindless daytime TV until my synapses melt.
Also, there is an internet connection so I can read all the awesome new fic that's been posted on
sga_santa and look at the art on
sga_art_santa, and now I have proper time to work on fic (and all my holiday stuff is done yay!) and there is cocoa and my orange fleece so I can be cuddly while I do all of these things.
Also, there are turkeys. Turkeys in the snow.

This turkey was right outside the office window. Usually they sense when you're trying to take a picture of them and run away, but this time this turkey stayed still.

Some of the turkeys saw Finn and flew gobbling away. He, however, was too excited at smelling them that he didn't actually see the huge flock of turkeys walking about fifty feet ahead of us.

AHHHH SNOW BEAST! The snow was up to his chest in places, and he had great fun bounding through it.

The bridge over the stream that goes behind my parents' house.
Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to be lazy for the rest of the day.
Oh, and some time in the past week my
sga_santa fic made its appearance *shifty look*

I am now safely ensconced in NH, far away from people who break car windows and steal things, \o/ And you know, I bet the bastards who steal things are still trapped there, without a single snow turkey in sight.

I consider this a fitting punishment.

The last time it snowed here was Christmas Eve 2004. It was light and beautiful and surprising and fun (snowballs scrapped from hoods of cars!) and gone by 10 o'clock the next morning. That's Texas for ya!
Enjoy your lazy time! I miss last year, when there was still school and a noticeable holiday break. Lazy, I want to be lazy...
