.cover: While writhing in searing torment waiting for my chance to snag the episode, I ventured into Photoshop for the first time in some weeks and doodled out a cover for sheafrotherdon's Iowa!verse fic [These Men Who Have Flown].






I have been having serious creativity issues for the past several weeks. While there's an obvious reason for it, i.e. more stress and work than I'm used to, I rely a lot on MS Word/Moleskine/Photoshop to alleviate some of my tension and that these venues haven't been working has kind of made me even more neurotic than I usually am.

I hope so! Usually even when things are really rough I've been able to do fun things to calm myself down and refocus, and not being able to do that has only added to the stress/general misery. Hopefully, that will all be over soon :D

Well, it seems to me that your creativity issues were far away when you made this lovely lay-out. The colours are simply gorgeous. I love the opposite colours-- the yellow plane, the blue background and then beatiful John with his red checkered shirt.

Did I mention how beautiful John is? Because he really really really is-- beautiful-- gorgeous-- and so NOT mine dammit! :o)

*hugs you!!* Well, they were very close!! I'd been trying to work on one thing and then another and neither of them wanted to cooperate (I seriously started and scrapped about three different backgrounds!), and finally I said fine, I'll try something else, but I was determined to get at least one thing done/started while I waited for torrents for "Outcast" to come up (which they never did and I ended up going to bed *sigh*)
