I think "solution" there is referring to dilution of Lysol in water :/ The MUM site (http://www.mum.org/lysolpre.htm) has a couple pages on the subject, including some ads... one from 1928, and they seem to imply that the Lysol here is the Lysol one uses to clean floors and kill insects.
