I feel like I did when I read that blackstrap molasses used to be used in ROAD PAVING. I was given blackstrap molasses cookies as a child! (And, okay, ate sand, but I WAS TWO AND STUPID. Grown-ups are supposed to know better! That's why they're grownups!)
