pictures and things: 'Traders,' noir!John, watch aesc pretend to be productive

The past two days have been characterized by very great exhaustion. While it's a change from feeling like my sinuses are trying to invade my eye sockets, I'm not terribly crazy about it. My brain laughs at the thought of managing plot (I can hear it cackling) or anything much more complicated than playing with Traders screencaps of unbearable quality yet unbelievable adorableness.

There is no sad Grant here, just him being goofy and weird and with the hands. (*flail* I can't help it, I love him and may possibly be addicted.) And there's also some noir!John, who is having his backstory turned over between decongestants.

Cone of silence!

He is such a dork, and I love him SO MUCH.

And hey, some icons! These will go up for real with the slowly-assembling collection in a couple weeks, I hope. But, in the meantime, feel free to take.

I've been doodling away at the noir stuff between other things and sinus infections. In the spirit of The Long Goodbye, John Sheppard is a disgraced Air Force veteran, pulled alive from the wreck of his P-51 Mustang in the North Sea. No one knows how he survived, but a few people have guessed....

Seen around: you comment with the start of a sentence, I reply with the rest of it. These can be fannish (e.g. John Sheppard and Dean Winchester like to) or personal (e.g. If I could smite one person in the world, it would be), or whatever, really.

It wasn't the hair that did Rodney in, or the math, or the way that John wore his shirts (so very not regulation, a little too tight, and softsoftsoft), or any of those mundane things that should have. What did Rodney in...

was John's laugh--yes, his laugh--and you're damn right Rodney was never, ever in a million years and alternate universes going to admit that to anyone, but it was true, John's horrible hyena bray of a laugh that was so maddeningly imperfect that Rodney, the first time he heard it, fell right then and there.
