Ahhhhh, aitch does = h! I find it very cool that sheafrotherdon actually made the leap and wrote out the articulation of the letter. Individual letters are one of those things that I (and probably most people) process visually as a pronounceable symbol but would never think to write down the pronunciation of in my spare time.

Whereas your symbol æ is an UNpronounceable symbol. What IS that THING? (If you're still in an explainy mood, that is.)
