Hurray, hurray, sgabigbang fic has squeaked over the word count (40,215! Ha!) and the submission deadline (11:59pm CST). There is still more to do, much tweaking, much in the way of horrified "oh my god, I didn't really write that, didn't I?" to do, but it all seems much more manageable.

Many many huge thanks to fiercelydreamed, beadattitude, villainny, and tropes, who have gone above and beyond mere mortal betas to provide some great advice and ideas at the moments when I really, truly needed them.

Heee, no no, I promise that there is no heartbreaking tragedy! And speaking of which, there needs to be a sequel to that.

There does! Because I totally can't read the first one (aside from skimming the entry and then crying when I saw the unhappy ending and realizing there was an entire giant story from you that I *couldn't read* because I am 100% aversive to happy endings and omg trauma!) until there's a happy ending second one!

But yay for this year!
