I'm going through one of those periods where specific events in my life are good (went to Boston yesterday, spent today in Freeport spending money), but there is this nonspecific, freefloating negativity that has made me shy and kind of depressed and not at all certain about a lot of things.

BUT. amberlynne's awesomeness defies all description. I finally got a chance to go to the post office today...

In other news: We had a hugely massive storm come through today--a tornado in Gorham, Maine (well, a funnel cloud, but still), and downed trees and no power almost everywhere. Home was untouched until about a half hour after we got back, and then ka-whoooooooooooo, 70mph wind gusts and no power. We're on the generator now, so I have to go.

Oh, you have to hear the story, honey. It's...beyond crazy.

Oh, I am quite convinced I have to hear it :D As it is, my mom was extremely puzzled and I had to revert to teenagerhood to answer all her questions. "Why did he sign a panda if it's a science fiction show?" "It's none of your business mom, geez."
