Happy birthday to Mel!!

A VERY VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to [livejournal.com profile] newkidfan, who makes some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen ♥♥♥

Rodney begins the long trek back to where he’d abandoned his piles of gear, laptop case banging on his hip. He has to get in touch with the Americans, who are the ones who have undertaken the responsibility of ferrying him back and forth between Antarctica and the headquarters in Colorado. And, knowing the Americans, there’ll be damn all getting his paperwork refiled and a whole host of pointless, tyrannical procedures to follow because, for a group of people obsessed with liberty and freedom, the Americans are very good at inflicting stupid regulations.

Rodney can feel his blood pressure increasing with each passing footstep. Grodin and the woman at the information desk have obviously been conspiring to push him over the edge of his first heart attack. That, Rodney decides, is going to come out of Grodin’s hide or ego, whichever is handiest, or possibly both.

Somewhere in the middle of plotting an elaborate scheme of revenge whereby Grodin ends up stumbling through the wrong side of an activated Stargate, a voice interrupts.

“I didn’t know you could do that with a particle accelerator.”

“What?” Rodney looks up from his gear and sees one of the USAF guys holding up a pillar, leaning against it and grinning at Rodney with a sort of mad laziness.

sweet! Nice work, as usual.

Hey, were you aware that the following message shows if one tries to access your journal?

Error
User aesc has messed up their journal template definition.

Obviously, you're showing up on the flist, but your actual journal isn't viewable.

Really? I just accessed it, and it seems to be working fine... I'm not logged in on my usual computer, so it's not my cache or anything.

Still doing it for me. Did it at work, and home. I printscreened it to show you: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?fnmketnnt5x

Huh. I've tried on my home computer and a couple computers on campus, in both Firefox and IE... I'm not sure what's going on. Will post about it to see if anyone else is having similar issues.

Hmmm, it becomes weirder... I posted asking if anyone else has had problems, and it looks like no one else has--wide range of browsers and geographical areas, so I don't know what's happening that's causing your browser to be all weird. *is befuddled*
