I and the hundred or so other people in the student center TV room were clapping and cheering, and now I am watching the streaming coverage on MSN. So right now, I have figured out that I can type, but I still have to stop and flail and go OH MY GOD to myself.

I cannot begin to explain the overwhelming sense of relief I feel right now. Relief that we got this far, that we did right, that this man is my president, that I will be able to watch the State of The Union addresses to come without wanting to reflexively throw something, that I can believe.
