Heh, trying to add some more entries to my typography tag XD I'll post a wallpaper of this eventually, but the way it came together was weirdly... not wallpaper-friendly, so I'll have to mess around with it some more.

"Solitary Man" was done pretty much the same way as Every Bended Knee, with text brushes used to sketch out John's face (using My Favorite Vegas Screencap as a guide), and Baskerville Old Face font for the contours. I added in textures because I didn't want this piece to be too much like the last one, but I don't know... it feels a bit cluttered, and I've decided I like the typography to carry the weight.
In other news: Am still wibbling over SPN 4.16. Meeep.

The only crit I might make is that the lips are too straight. Shep, iirc, was always smirking or frowning, slightly...

(The cap this is borrowed from actually, for once, has John not smirking/frowning/doing something :D But I agree, it looks kind of odd because his face is usually so expressive.)
