In other news: I went to a pretty awesome concert tonight and now I am home talking about befuddled, has-got-Castiel-all-up-in-his-space Dean with unamaga. There may be cookies shortly. (Short version: Evening is a vast improvement on the day.)

And for some reason, I have this itch to write girl!Dean/Castiel. Considering I'm still not sure what to make of my first attempt at genderfuck, I have no idea what to make of this.

Heh heh, I think the problem I'm having is that I'll make something and think, hey, that would have made a great tutorial XD I sort of don't know its tutorial-worthiness until it's done... which probably means, from here on in, I should just write down everything I do, in case :D

Just stopping by to encourage the genderfuck. I'm wondering if you'd go the route of always-a-girl or turned-into-a-girl. I prefer the latter, but I've seen the former happen a lot in the Wincest part of the fandom and I'm curious as to which way would work with Castiel (versus the way that seems to work with Sam and the way that it happens with John).

I think I have determined it to be temporary insanity, caused by azephirin, who has written some absolutely beautiful girl!Dean/Castiel that I keep returning to again and again when I should be working. Now girl!Dean is in my head (with Castiel) and will not leave a;lsdkjsdlkj

I read that fic by azephirin a while back tooooooo! And I couldn't let it go either! I don't know whether it was because it hit all my kinks *tmi* or whether it was that beautiful- probably both. Personally, I saw her girl!Dean as an original female character because I love the idea that straight-up het can be awesome too.

It really is an unbelievably wonderful fic, one of those that I both wish was longer but yet know that it works the way it is. I found myself nodding along and thinking, yes, this is exactly how girl!Dean would be. That, and her words are so lovely, just pitch-perfect for what she's writing.
