.sunday drabbleventures = OPEN!; SPN 4.20-related ridiculousness
I'm spending the morning finishing up a conference paper thingy that I kind of despise and waiting for my new sheets to finish their run through the wash, and the actual proper stories in my head don't really want to be written at the moment, so hey, why not Sunday drabbleventures?
.rules: Comment to this post over here with a character/pairing (SPN, SGA, Merlin, Bones for now) and a prompt and I shall write you 100 words of drabbleosity. You guys know which ways I swing.
Also, I have to post this now because it has been amusing me almost without surcease since I heard the spoilers for it, and Thursday's preview of SPN 4.20 has only increased the amusement factor. Do NOT click on the cut if you are unspoiled for this coming Thursday and wish to remain so.
As you may know from watching the 4.20 promos, Castiel's human vessel is named Jimmy. Why is this amusing to me? you ask. Well:
Finn was named "Jimmy" before I adopted him, named that by his former Neanderthal owners, and I remember thinking, "God, what a ridiculous name for a dog" when I first saw his listing online. Now I kind of have to shake my head and grin, looking back and forth between dog!Jimmy and human!Jimmy. There are certain similarities, I have to admit... pretty eyes and the ability to look completely adorable while being totally confused.
And did I mention how freaking much I'm looking forward to this episode? CANNOT. WAIT.
