.art: Perdition (Dean/Castiel); avoidance
God, I am in a totally avoidant frame of mind right now. I've been working on Project #2 instead of the dissertation, and also my brain has decided it would much rather think of increasingly bizarre stories than work on the story it's almost finished with, or any of the stories it's supposed to write--or, even, the stories it thinks about writing so it can avoid writing the stories it's supposed to write in the first place. So, now I have a list of increasingly bizarre story ideas, thank you brain. Further, it's decided to mess around with Photoshop to do stuff it really has no business doing... It wanted to try something a bit harder, more obviously textured, and this is what came out.

Text:
Perdition means loss & forgetting & being forgotten.
Cruel twist:
Dean remembers.
So does Cas.
And some days
they revisit Hell together,
the blood + bone
+ rising up.

dearest,
kiho_chan, sxc. Skull from... somewhere. The poetry down the side there is from a poem by Yishaq ben Mar-Saul, a poet writing in 11th-century Spain. You can find the piece here, although regrettably, with typos. (There's also a 12th-century piece which is quite lovely, as well.)
On the bright side: Misha Collins has found ways to destroy me in 140 characters or less.
