Atlantis: Unleashed!

Back in 2005-ish, when I first started reading SGA fic, I read this one John/Rodney fic that I have mostly forgotten. I recall only two things about it: that the sexing happened in the puddlejumper bay, and that the author had something in there about how John pulls Rodney's shirt off to reveal the beginnings of a six-pack. At the time I was still new to SGA and had probably seen only the first season, but I was still fairly certain that "six-pack abs" did not really describe Rodney's physique.

Flash-forward to today, when I was being avoidant and reading Cute Overload (shut up) and I saw this in the ad sidebar:



I immediately thought of six-pack!Rodney, despite the fact that Rodney (six-pack or otherwise) would be extremely skittish about swords. I then read the book's description, and wow, "warrior prince and beautiful archaeologist." You can probably guess where my mind went, only the beautiful archaeologist became the "rakishly handsome mathematician."

In other news: Oh god, Porn Battle VIII is up and running. And I'm feeling avoidant. MUST. RESIST. MUST.

a) Cute Overload is brilliant and should be consumed daily. b) I would totally read that Atlantis AU! c) The real book looks mildly entertaining too, but I'd prefer John and Rodney :)
