question and observation and OMGWTF FLY

Question
Hey, Merlin peoples: Is there a central repository for HQ episode stills (not caps, the promo stuff). I have the SGA half of the material I need for a project, but I still need some of the Merlin half, and screencaps aren't quite doing it for me. Any help would be awesome ♥

Observation
I know that "Castiel" is meant to be a modification/corruption of Cassiel/Qafsiel, but I find it endlessly entertaining that cast- is also the root form of the Latin word that means "pure"--yes, pure as in chaste, virgin, untouched, never done it, ever, not even once. Yeah, again, modification and all that, but it adds a new dimension of amusement, imagining Dean asking Castiel to explain what his name means, and Castiel looking puzzled (or, possibly, annoyed) as Dean starts snickering helplessly and making remarks about thirty-thousand-year-old virgins.

Interestingly, castus derives from the proto-Indo European root verb kest-2, which means "to cut off or separate." It'is also related to castrum, the Latin antecedent of "castle," literally "the separated (i.e. walled-off) place.") /educational portion of the show.

In other news: OMG THERE IS A GIGANTIC FLY. I NEED A FLAMETHROWER, THIS FUCKER IS HUGE. DIE HORRIBLE PEST! DIE!

Just butting in with a nerd update: Castiel really is an angel of Thursday according to the Heptameron, whereas Cassiel is also listed there as an angel of Saturday and in the Key of Solomon as both an angel of Saturday and an angel ruling various hours of various days.

Either way, I am fully behind jokes about Castiel the eternal virgin. Remember, Cas, we torment because we love!

Whereas I actually found the Heptameron while I was looking for Castiel's name XD The etymology would be interesting, though, whether it's something you could actually use or just that some crusty theoretical magician needed more angels so he decided to tweak the names of angels he already had.
