A while back, oatmeal_queen asked if I'd like to collaborate on a piece of art inspired by In the Silence After (author TBA; it's an exchange fic). If you know her art--and if you don't, you should--you can understand why I jumped at the chance. So, she did the amazing, amazing lineart and I tried not to mess it up too badly by adding the colors.
A heavy influence in the later stages ended up being the amazing cover of "O Death" that came along with the S5 promo. God, it's so chilling and awesome.

.in other news: OMFG there's so much to get done. If you see me on LJ this weekend, demand to know what the hell I think I'm doing. Seriously, the amount of applications I have to get done horrifies and depresses me. I hate applications like the very devil :(
