Even though I feel like I should get a pass on the next... year of creativity, as I just finished the killer-death exchange fic last night (Trin and 22 can tell you exactly how killer-death it was), I do have something this week!

One of the many things that I really wish the show would actually, uh, show us is Castiel's search for God. Where does he go? What does he do? Being the sneaky angel that he is, maybe one of the places he looks is right back at the beginning.

So, yeah! I wanted this to come out looking a bit painterly, as though it's old tempera on wood, the medium of a lot of older art. The piece can also go with my SAII fic, The land of unlikeness, but really I just love the thought of Castiel going back to his beginnings (or Castiel at the beginning, for that matter), breaking into Paradise for one last look, or for respite. Oh, Cas <3

.in other news: Daylight Savings is still messing with me :/ I have got to get to bed at a reasonable hour tonight.

Sadly, no. I work at a call center and spend my days playing social worker (without the marginally better pay than I get now, or the degree) and daydreaming about Misha Collins' mouth....

Oh, this is gorgeous! I wish I could reach in to the computer screen and feel the textures it implies. Also, I love that you can't see Cas' face, and the fact that he hasn't disturbed the water or the calm at all.

I'd love to see Cas looking for God at Holi somewhere, with his trenchcoat all splattered with brilliant colours and little kids running and laughing around him.

Oh, what a lovely picture. the colors and the way the tree dominates the image all central and Cas off to the side. Beautiful!!!
