Typing this up while I hover indecisively over an empty .doc file that's supposed to hold some kind of ficlet.

To all of you out there, the fleece/neck!porn picspam was so much fun! It encapsulates why I love fandom--the unalloyed incoherence and fun and spontaneity that can come out of it. So thank you to those who came over and played; I really enjoyed it.

Speaking of picspam, I updated it with orange-fleece!David, courtesy of omens, and one cap of John I had originally intended to go in but forgot about. (I know, I have no idea what's wrong with me).

In other news: Roomie is back, and I'm relieved to have someone else around who can deal with the Jehovah's Witnesses and remember to put out the recycling. However, I have to get used to stashing my fanfic Moleskine somewhere when I'm not writing in it, as her seeing "Rodney licked nipped (bit??? Or 'breathed across'?) the hollow of John's neck, where the flesh curved and was (???? moist? humid? warm?) and he could feel John's pulse pounding, pounding and telling Rodney he --" could raise some awkward questions.

Okay, back to ficlet.

ETA: Okay, away from ficlet because this just occurred to me... There are tons and tons of sex pollen fics out there. BUT. Is there, perchance, an anti-sex pollen fic? You know, something along the lines of the botanists bring this plant back from M1X-Backasswards, and swear to Elizabeth it doesn't have any harmful properties, like causing her head scientist and chief military officer to spontaneously start making out in the conference room (which disappoints the botanists). And everything seems okay BUT that night John, who'd gone with said botanists to M1X-Backasswards, firmly but politely rebuffs Rodney when Rodney wants to get in some action before they go to sleep... And the same thing in the morning... and the afternoon when John escapes after Rodney tries to corral him in a supply closet... Clearly it's up to Rodney to get to the bottom of this... mystery.

Anything out there like that?

But now that I know it's yours... how do you feel about a mini-comic? I found that one of the scenes you described would be better served with sequential drawings...

And I can always draw you something fir ASP *afterwards* ;P

Huh, I knew who I was writing for when I got her email with the story I picked *blush* And I wrote and asked her if we were supposed to send the images to the writer, and she said we didn't have to but we could if we wanted (which would imply we knew who we were writing for once we got the story files).
