So, who isn't going to Harry Potter tonight?

Like the subject says, who isn't going (or depending on time zone, hasn't gone) to the midnight release?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Crickets?

Haha, it's funny because I don't feel like reading this one and I don't know why.

But, but, but, driving past a bookstore, I kind of got teary because y'know the kids are glowing with happiness that I kind of have to go aww! and *\o/* for 'em. Also HP was my first fandom and now the last page is out *is sad*.

I kinda do, kinda don't. I wasn't crazy about HP6, and while I'd like to see how it all ends, I don't want it to in some ways. Maybe I'm too used to having holes and no endings in the stuff I read... To have a "complete" text seems wrong somehow.

Yes, I think that's it. From the title it seems like there's a definite end and once the characters are let go like that they never really can be caught back up again, Peter Pan-esque like. I guess JKR might let the magic spin out to a natural end like that, with the Trio as adults used to their magic *sighs*.

Have you read any Prydain books, the ones with Taran and Eilowny?
