.picspam: out of uniform; expressiveness

Earlier tonight, dogeared melted my brain a little, and then sheafrotherdon asked for picspam. So I bring you another dual-themed picspam: Joe Flanigan in civvies (so if you see Sheppard, you won't see the black t-shirt) and the many and wonderful expressions of David Hewlett, mostly Rodney but with some other stuff tossed in.

For the record, I was supposed to do reading tonight.






JF is one of those reasons they invented the untucked shirt. And also leaving the top two buttons undone.



Oh, and cuffs too. Can't forget the cuffs. The theme has a liet motif (if you will) of Meaningful Looks, including the Meaningfully-Raised Eyebrow, which could mean anything from "Okay, you're pissing me off" to "Okay, you're pissing me off and I want to have sex on the interrogation room table right now."

*contemplates the Nothing/Thoughtcrimes crossover she lost and never had the heart to start again*



Three from Tru Calling. Why would anyone want to kill him? WHY???? *laments*



ICED COFFEE! (I'm sorry; I find it amusing for some reason.)

ETA1: grammar_glamour informs me that the specific iced coffee is "an iced grande nonfat latte, probably half-caf and definitely not vanilla." *dies all over the place*



Do you see what I mean about the shirt buttons? Do you???? The inevitable end of unbuttoned collars, of course, is no shirt at all.

And now, Rodney!




The third one here, the face of Oh My God, We Didn't Die, is possibly one of my favorites of all time. And of course, who can forget the I'm Invulnerable! victorious smile, which was part of for me (as I think it was for many), the McKay/Sheppard-making moment.



Now we have Intense! and Focused!Rodney, shading into Seriously Pissed Off!Rodney, all of whom also rank high on my list. The "Allies" cap with Rodney listening to his radio is one that somehow finds its way into a lot of my graphic work. I think that's because it's cool.



In all seriousness for a moment, David Hewlett has one of the sweetest smiles I have ever seen in my whole life. Really, he does.



Even with his face covered up, he still manages to be expressive. Poor Rodney!



Brilliant science stuff? Me.



I'm pretty sure Rodney's supposed to be "Are you serious?" in the first one, but he ends up with puppy eyes. And in the last, victorious!smile with a side of the subject for a possible future picspam, The Hands of Enthusiastic Explanation.

Request: Doing this has made me realize I have a deplorable lack of images of SGA actors out of their Atlantis gear. It could mean a whole new level of environmental protection. And saving energy.

Like the sun and wind, it's a completely renewable resource, and nonpolluting! All you would need to do is gather fangirls around a very large screen, hook them up to some kind of generator, and show them pictures like the first one. You would be set.
