Oh, fandom gives the best presents!

My Santa for sga_santa gave me Class: Insecta, and it is awesome, the best post-Conversion fic I've ever read:

The comic falls to the floor, forgotten, and he grabs Rodney's wrist. "I can lift six times my own weight."

The expression on Rodney's face takes no special powers to read: it says you're-a-moron loud and clear. "So can I. It's called a lever. You might have heard of it."

And the sga_art_santa left me the perfectest holiday card ever! Rodney and his journal and his cat and his happy, lovely smile! And John who is looking on and happy too, and *flaps about happily* IT IS BEAUTIFUL GO THAR AND SEE EEEET.

I also peeked in this present and OMG I WANT THE STORY THAT GOES WITH THIS. I can see it now: CSIS agent Rodney McKay and CIA agent John Sheppard investigate a series of mysterious disappearances/murders, with mysterious symbols carved in their victims' backs and general mystery all around. Or any variation thereof. WANT WANT WANT.

Will try to be back with a bit of fic tonight, something that percolated in my brain somewhere between my hop onto I90 and my tumbling off it in Albany. But if not tonight, then after the family craziness is over.

You know, I really, really love my family, and am so happy to be home... but I really, really love my fandom and my flist too. *hearts*

Also, Rodney twisting underneath John's body, hands drawing distracted patterns on his shoulders, his neck, wanting it now now now and John looking up the length of Rodney's torso and grinning (slowly grinning) and saying okay before lowering his head.

And, you know, when Rodney comes, he comes with John's name broken in his mouth, and John swallows, has to catch his own breath as he rests against the trembling curve of Rodney's torso, blissed-out, careless, loving this.
