I mean seriously, anything that strongly suggests you use rubber gloves while applying it to various surfaces should probably not be put inside you. For all I know, Lysol might be a great feminine hygeine product, but still, what's next? Shaving your legs with a straight razor? *cringes*

Nothing like [livejournal.com profile] vintage_ads to make you realize how lucky you are to be living now.

Of course it kind of makes you look at modern ads and wonder what people will think of them in fifty years.

I sincerely hope the answer is "backwards and unenlightened when it comes to the importance of sexual/racial/gender equality." And I'm okay with that, because that at least suggests we'd be continuing to progress.
