I love this picture - it just looks like the beach - the blue of the water and sky, the warm colors of the sand and the sunset.

Thank you so much! Despite my dislike for Florida (20 years too many there...), I do still have very great fondness for the beaches, and I miss them a lot some times.

Ohhh that is so completely and utterly fabulous! The coloring and the soft blends and the sailboats and I really, REALLY love our boys in casual clothes there. I almost want to ask if you could extend the righthand side 200 more pixels so I could use it for a desktop photo (it's probably too demanding of me... I use a Mac, so all my desktop icons are on the right, and I don't want to cover up Atlantis... lol)!

I really love how skillfully you use black and white, as well. It really draws one's eye all up and down and around the composition, which iirc from art class back in the day, is a very, very good thing. *stares at the pretty colors at the top some more*

This is so beautiful and relexed and lovely. I don't even like the beach (too much sand) but this makes me want to join the boys in a lazy beach weekend.

I love how this piece just seems gentle and languid and sweet, just like a day spent doing nothing important. It's the perfect balance to the story.

I adore your images, especially the ones you've done for the Nantucket series. This one is no exception. The colours are cool and so very "ocean".
