For [livejournal.com profile] artword Challenge 10: Reversed and put together to get [livejournal.com profile] dogeared to write her absolutely lovely Lie Beside the Sea. Please please please go read it and tell her how awesome it is! When I read it this morning, I was so happy I can't even tell you, and I guarantee it will make you smile.

1200.900px version linked! Hugest thanks to [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis for the graphics space on her site ♥

Ohhh that is so completely and utterly fabulous! The coloring and the soft blends and the sailboats and I really, REALLY love our boys in casual clothes there. I almost want to ask if you could extend the righthand side 200 more pixels so I could use it for a desktop photo (it's probably too demanding of me... I use a Mac, so all my desktop icons are on the right, and I don't want to cover up Atlantis... lol)!

I really love how skillfully you use black and white, as well. It really draws one's eye all up and down and around the composition, which iirc from art class back in the day, is a very, very good thing. *stares at the pretty colors at the top some more*

Thank you so much! ♥

How is this (http://discolore.oxoniensis.org/artword10/aw_10xl.png)? Keep in mind it's going to push everything about 200px over to the left, so you are going to lose the left margin stuffs. The new stuff on the canvas is really just a bunch of the lower layers that weren't covered over by the ones on top :D

Ohh YAY! Thank you so much! *is using it already* Though I'm confused by what you mean by 'it's just going to push everything over?' (as it didn't... that I can see, anyway) Also, oooh so pretty! I really appreciate it :D

Oh good, good, I'm happy you liked it! I was worried that the different size would mess up the orientation of the image on the screen, so yay for that not happening :)

Oh, no, I see what you mean, but I have a widescreen monitor, so it just looks lovely--plus, part of why I 'need' great desktop images is because I like stuff to look at on the sides when I'm writing, like around the text file. So depending on where I drag it, I get to look at all sorts of really awesome stuff. Thanks again, very much.
