Eeeesh, we had 9 inches of rain this weekend--a drop in the bucket compared to Galveston and other places (is the entire midwest under water???), but it set a local record for most rainfall in 24 hours. Finally, finally it's cleared up and there had damn well better be some nice weather this week, that's all I'm sayin'.

MEME. Stolen from pretty much everyone: What, if you read my fic, is/are the characteristic(s) that stand(s) out the most? The convoluted sentences? How it vanishes from your memory even as you read it?

RL. OMFG way too busy. I had two conference abstracts due today and an appointment with the advisor to talk about my "dissertation." The good news is that the proposal is further along than I thought.

(lurker here) I've said it once and I'll say it again. I love your amazing ability to spin delightful AUs. I love all of your universes, and in each of them, I fall in love with your Rodney and your John. Every time I start on an AU by you, I know I can fall in love with the characters, their background, and the world you build.

Aw, thank you so much! I had never been a big AU fan before SGA, but there's just something about dropping the two of them into a different world and letting them have at it :D
