Happiness: Day Eight
This is for yesterday and today... Today things are looking up a bit. I got to laze in bed and pet my large black dog, then I went to school and managed to get another project mostly done, and I also got some good news from a fellowship I hadn't gotten the first time around; they emailed me today and said that I got it after all, because one of the recipients dropped out. Now I have to figure out if I should take it or not... It requires teaching service, but it's more money... Oh, money. You make things so complicated.

amberlynne's fic-writing and shoe-buying sugar mama, and unamaga and I have decided that we completely agree with Misha: after all is said and done, Sam, Dean, and Castiel go live in a ramshackle blue country house and drive each other crazy. Also, dogeared and I established that while these look awesome, selmelier!Rodney would not approve of salt being defaced in such a way. His life is so hard, people.
Oh, and I gave intobeeej's wily wiles and totally ordered some samples from BPAL. They're all from the Wanderlust collection: Crossroads (of course), Tintagel, Hanging Gardens, Gomorrah (of course), Port Royal, and Morocco. Good smells, I will has them.
Dreamwidth lemmingness: I'm aesc over at Dreamwidth. How stunning, how original. Right now the journal is just a placeholder, although I may import stuff from here over to there for purposes of backup. Still planning on sticking around LJ, though, because I'm not that keen on change.

Um, well, Castiel is an angel, so he doesn't have blood? But I totally bet his vessel is O- and donates frequently. He also has an organ donor card, because he's that upstanding, decent, and self-sacrificing. (And he'd totally give you a kidney if you needed it.)

*Stolen from Kash* Oh man, where to start? Dragging Dean out of hell, for one. That was pretty cool. Stealth smiting? Also cool. Standing there reading his book and being all cool and calm while Dean loses his shit? Also awesome. And let us not forget being all sneaky and duplicitous and totally interfering when he shouldn't.
In my head (so not in canon), he kicks ass at the magic and the invention of letters. And for me, that is super-awesome because of how I am a nerd and like nerd-type kick-assedness.

That said, LJ is not going to explode :D :D Most people I know (including me!) are staying right here, but are backing stuff up over at DW, or just claiming screen names in case something does happen. For myself, I signed up just to get first dibs on 'aesc' and to have an online backup of my stories and stuff, because DW allows you to basically import your entire journal with minimum effort, and I am super lazy when it comes to archiving my fics :D
So yes, staying right here, along with everyone else! *hugs you*
