.eta: if you look at the bucket of golf balls, you can see that it's labeled PROPERTY OF DAEDALUS, DO NOT REMOVE. On one hand, it's pretty funny that someone (i.e. John) saw it and filched it because it would be awesome for holding golf balls; on the other hand, it's funny because... I mean... super-advanced spaceship and they have silly metal buckets on board so critical to ship operations that they must not be taken.

I think /o\ that perhaps the 'skill level' refers to the difficulty of hole 1, not John's prowess? I'm going on the other data there - how far away the hole is, what the par is for that particular hole?

And wow, it's possible to use the word hole too much in one sentence . . .

I was working off my admittedly outdated knowledge of video golf (Microsoft Golf and Nintendo woo hoo!), where IIRC the skill level is set before play starts. It's funnier that way :D
