Got it! Rodney's an engineer, Ronon teaches martial arts (or is maybe an artist!), and John is a pilot. One day, John's ex-wife/girlfriend Nancy leaves the kid on the doorstep while John's out of town. Wacky dorky hijinks ensue! \o/

Or, in canon, the Planet of the Week's cruel joke is sort of like that egg thing in health/sex ed, where you had to take care of an egg with a partner. Only, Rodney, John, and Ronon have to take care of a real live baby for a month. Wacky dorky hijinks ensue! \o/

It is rather horrible, isn't it? I mean, you can tell it's manipped... and not just knowing that this isn't a scene from the episode, but just the light/shadow, difference in relative image quality. I am kind of embarrassed by it, but hey, sometimes you have to do these things.

Also, it looks like a cover to some bizarre mpreg fic, where John is pregnant but doesn't admit it to anyone (and, you know, people are oblivious for nine months), but then they end up in a hostile situation and the stress sends John into labor or something, and Rodney delivers the baby and is shakily relieved and happy and very proud.

And that is as close to mpreg as I will ever get. *backs away slowly*

It's so awesome! Oh my god, this episode rendered me completely helpless. Completely. Every time I think of John, I just... oh my god, helpless.

When the episode is actually released :) I think it's a huge spoiler, and a lot of people would probably be upset to be spoiled for something like that. Also, it really is a terrible manip; once I have time, I'll sit down and do it properly :D
