.some pimping

.pimp the first: Around six months ago, dogeared posted Untitled No. 1, the first ficlet in her marvelous Nantucket Universe. And today, the_oscar_cat has posted her podfic of it as part of her festival of Nantucket recordings.

I am shading into self-pimping a bit because I write in it, but I just wanted to say how inexpressibly awesome dogeared is for letting me play on her little island, and how much fun it's been to write some of the little pieces that go into making up John and Rodney's life there. So. Yes. *loves*

(Also, I should add that now there are over thirty stories and 35,000 words of Nantucketness, along with podfic, art, .pdf file, all sorts of things!)

.pimp the second: This looks like such fun! sga_art_santa is the art equivalent of sga_santa. It works on the same premise: ask for art, do art in return. And it's art of any kind--digital, traditional, mixed media, all sorts of things! I've signed up, and gently encourage those of you who are art-like to sign up too :)

Now... now I should probably get foods. Foods are good.
