CONCORD, New Hampshire - New Hampshire's governor has signed legislation making the state the sixth to allow gay marriage.
Gov. John Lynch was surrounded by cheering supporters of the move as he signed the three bills about an hour after the key vote on the legislation in the House.
ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG YAY!!!!! Go New England! *rushes around madly* I'm of mixed emotions toward all the compromise wording that had to be added to reassure the poor, persecuted Christian minority they wouldn't be compelled to gay marry people, but a;sljds;dlksjd it got the legislation through. (Of course, this is still unacceptable to people like Kevin Smith and his ilk, who really just need, at this point, to shut the goddamn fuck up until they can string together one logical thought.)
.eta to prevent further concern/confusion: The Kevin Smith above is not "Kevin Smith, filmmaker," it's "Kevin Smith, executive director [and Head Douchewalrus] of gay marriage opponent Cornerstone Policy Research."
