So my friend smilla has started a multifandom commentfic comm for horror-type fic and art, sharp_teeth. All you need to do to participate? Either leave a prompt (for any fandom you'd like! I know my flist spans SPN, SGA, Bones, White Collar, Leverage, Merlin, Star Trek, Terminator, and lots of other things I can't remember off the top of my head) or reply to one!

The comm is gen-oriented, more rules at the intro post! So go! Go write and otherwise depict scary things!

.in other news: I was looking over my list of Fannish Things to Do, and realized all of them are really big. Two (or three) long fics, and a comic, and I am going to try very hard not to be distracted by small things and actually work on those so that they will perhaps one day, if I am very good, be finished. Why must you take so much of my time, dissertation? Also, one good thing has emerged out of the horror of the past two weeks: I'm probably not going to be in Cesspool, State for a good part of this year and maybe some of the next. Aesc is going home, baby, yeah! The move is money-saving and sanity-saving, as I am down to the last of my reserves of those.

(AND speaking of the former... if I designed a t-shirt and it did not entirely suck, and posted it to Threadless, would you all vote for it so that it might possibly have a chance at being printed?)

A couple weeks ago, Jenn and I were talking about the Olympic curling, and I mentioned that Finn (the black dog) is also very good at curling... curling up on the couch, that is. We laughed about that, and Jenn said I should do something with it.
